More adventures

Wade is starting to teach himself to roll over. He has mastered the tummy-to-back roll and the back-to-side roll. We are still waiting for the all the way over back-to-tummy roll, his arms just seem to get in the way every time he attempts it though! Lately he also enjoys sitting in his Bumbo seat and joining all the grown-ups at the dinner table. He especially likes his reading time at the table with Grandpa M. :)

He rolled over once and then I put him on his tummy to try again. At this point, he was a little annoyed with me:

Chillin' in his Bumbo on the kitchen table:

He still thinks his thumb is a wonderful thing:

We got a new camera, so here he is humoring Mom and the flash again:

Like father, like son

We were just looking through some old pictures of Mark when he was 2 months old and there is a slight resemblance between him and Wade. Seriously, can you tell who is who? I guess the grainy pictures probably give it away, but you get the idea.

Now, both mesmerized by the TV:

No real reason for this one...

Just some really cute recent pictures.

I used to hate being naked, now it's not so bad:

Sorry...

I know, it's been FOREVER since I last posted anything... I headed back to work on the 29th of January. It was (and continues to be) very hard to leave Wade behind, but I'm soooo glad that it's with Grandma and Grandpa M. If he were at a regular daycare, I don't think I could manage! He does wonderfully and they report all of his feedings, nap-times (usually with Grandpa) and play-times. He especially loves "naked time" when he gets all aired out. If it's nice outside, then they venture out so he can be free as a bird out-of-doors :)

He's getting to be so much fun. He continues to exercise his vocal chords and loves to yell and laugh. Now, he can sit up when he holds onto my fingers. When I put him on his belly, he raises up his shoulders and head and looks around- however, he's not too fond of "belly time." My theory is that he's trying to go places, but he gets those little legs going and he gets frustrated that he's still stuck in one place!

We've hung out with JP and Elena, a couple from our birthing class, a couple of times. We had dinner at our house last weekend and spent the day at the Farmer's Market and at a garden center this weekend, with the babies of course! Their little one, Jackson, is 2 weeks younger than Wade- although her due date was 1 day earlier than mine :) She was a trooper and made it through 36 hours of labor at home. Turns out he was born with his hand beside his head- ouch! Here's a picture of our boys:
He deals with all the pictures, just like he deals with all the yucky kisses from mom. He's such a boy...
Looking very sweet:

I know this isn't a very good picture, but look at this chubby man! He's wearing 6 month size clothes now...
