Summertime

We had so much fun this summer! Here are some of the things we did.

Daddy and I went strolling around in our super-cool backpack...

...went to the water park...


... and of course, learned to crawl!

Let the fun begin!

Much to our surprise, Wade has officially started to crawl- or as our neighbor likes to call it, the "dinosaur stomp." We thought he was going to bypass this stage, but we're glad he decided to give it a try. He's already pulling himself up on the furniture, his crib, us and anything else he can get his hands on so I don't think it will be long before he decides to try walking too...

It's so funny to see how hard he works. We put him on the floor with his basket of toys and he's got THINGS TO DO! Here he is in hot pursuit of a water bottle...

...and he's off...

Well not really, but since he's pretty sure he can walk we bought him his first pair of shoes so he can play in his walker outside. No wonder the shoes we had wouldn't fit- we were trying to squeeze him into a size 2 and he's a size 4 1/2 wide! But seriously, $29.99???
