Growth spurt!

We went to the doctor today for Wade's 2 month appointment and apparently he is on a mission to be the biggest baby in the surrounding area. He is now 24 1/4 inches long and 13 lbs 12.5 oz, which puts him in the 90th percentile compared to other babies his age (only 10% are bigger than he is)! I knew all that food had to be going somewhere, but geez!

He also got the first 2 of a long line of vaccinations. As we were waiting for the nurse, he played around on the table- yelling, smiling and laughing. Needless to say, he did really well (way better than his mom) and only cried as he was getting the shots. He got over it really fast and decided to take a nap after all the excitement.

Later that day, he finally got to meet Great-Grandma & Great-Grandpa Schroeder and Great-Aunt Jay & Great-Uncle Pat. He was thrilled with all the attention and was a very happy little camper, until of course, he got hungry...

By the way, if you go to the photographer's website (http://www.molliekphotography.com/) and go the the blog part, you can see the little write-up she did on Wade's shoot.

Oh, my! What a big, precious, little chunk! Rayleigh was weighed on Monday for her 6 mth, and she weighed 15 lbs. 14 oz. (50th percentile), and little Wade is almost catching up to her! Wow!

Also, could you send me the link to the website you found for the homemade slings? I never liked the one I got from the store, either, and I've seen the kind you have and heard those are the absolute best. I'd love to have one.
