One small step for man...

To make sure that we don't forget about him, Wade is starting to join in on our conversations. He likes to say "buh bye" when we or somebody else leaves and will also make an "uh, uh, uh" noise when we ask him how a monkey sounds.

The other day I gave him his golf ball (of course we buy him all these cool toys, but the free golf ball is one of his favorites for some odd reason), and he put it into a round hole in another toy. I thought that was pretty cool and wanted to see if he could do it again and lo and behold, he could! He's figured out that a round toy goes into a round hole! I'm pretty sure that raises him into baby genius status.

He has also figured out that one of his toys is for him to push around and walk behind. At first it was a little too fast and he kept falling, but after only a few tries he got it down! I can see ideas about walking starting to click in his little head! Wade thinks it's great to be at a new level, but mom is not so sure- she can barely keep up with him when he's crawling...

This is Wade walking outside (Mark has to drag the toy a bit because it gets stuck in the grass):

Then later, inside, chasing after me:

Here you go! Take in all the rest you can NOW, because life is about to change drastically. I love his wabble-walk! They're too cute when they're learning to walk!
