We have been up to a lot of big boy things lately! We've been experimenting with the potty, practicing after naps mostly. Some days he goes potty on it every time, other days he wants nothing to do with it! I'm just impressed that he wants to go on it at all :) Generally he wants to sit on it and read, as do most of us.
Wade also was not enjoying breakfast, lunch or dinner times very much. It apparently took too much time away from his playing and made him sit still for WAY too long! So, we moved him from the highchair to his bumbo seat on top of a regular chair, so he can eat at the table with us. I wouldn't say he enjoys mealtimes, but he will now tolerate them for much longer. He also loves feeding himself, which is great for him, but a MESS for us! He generally just spoons most of it onto his shirt or chin or cheek, but he's learning :)
We don't watch much TV, but on Saturday mornings, sometimes we turn on the cartoons. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is one of his favorites. Here he is mesmerized by the opening song. I took about 3 pictures before he even blinked...
All of the "babies" are now turning 1! Here are Wade and Kent at Kent's 1st birthday. Can you believe that they are only 3 months apart? If you look closely, you can still see frosting in Kent's nose :) He loved his cake and ate about half of it!
