Wade & Momma on the train

I played hooky from school today and Wade and I went to Burnet to ride Thomas the Train. It was so much fun! There was so much to do there, and being a weekday, it wasn't too packed. We met up with April, Michael, Parker and Jackson and rode the steam train with them, which Wade LOVED.

Wade & Parker sat still for about 3 seconds. Then it was like someone flipped a switch and they both started wiggling and going in different directions!

We then wandered around and Wade got to play with train sets & blocks, he got a temporary tattoo of Thomas (which he immediately wanted off and successfully licked most of it off by the time we got home) and had a balloon animal made for him (which he bit and popped within a few minutes).

Wade was pretty sure he could make the balloons himself. He found the balloons in the man's pocket and proceeded to help himself!

Wade doesn't know who Thomas the Train is specifically, but he loves the cartoon Chuggington on the Disney channel and loves all things trains, so he had a blast! He even talked Momma into spending too much $$ on a t-shirt & toy (really just the toy, the t-shirt was all me). Oh well, what a great day...!
