Handy Manny or Bob the Builder... depending on who you ask!

Wade was Handy Manny for Halloween, however, Bob the Builder is apparently more popular because that's who everyone thought he was. Except one 5 year old boy, who exclaimed, "I know who you are- you're Handy Manny!" Smart kid :)

Swinging with Uncle Greg

Wade had a great time on Halloween this year! First, we went over to Maryanne's house to take pictures with the girls, who were adorable pink poodles. We then went to one of her neighbors houses and did our first trick or treat. After he realized the game, at the second house, he ran right up, knocked on the door and said, "More, please!"

We came back home, got ready and loaded him up into the wagon to go trick or treating around our block. After Wade realized there was CANDY inside all those shiny packages, he started sucking on them until the gooey, melted chocolate was squeezed out. Great problem-solving skills... Then came his cry for "stickers" (suckers) over and over again until we gave in. Needless to say, for the rest of the trip, every time he reached into a bowl of candy, 6 treats stuck to his gooey, slimey, sticky hands.

I figured bedtime would be a nightmare, but as he was going to sleep and going back over his day (as usual), he repeated "tick uh teet" over and over until he fell asleep. I know he had a great time getting dressed up- he even kept his hat and tool belt on all night. He loved seeing all the other dressed-up kids, and especially getting "treaters" as he called them. What a fun night, but now we have as much candy from Wade's bag sitting on the kitchen counter as we bought to hand out to other trick or treaters... Hmmm, what a strange cycle...
