Attack of the killer lady bugs!

26 1/2 weeks

Who knew that my poor feet could get so swollen- I'm seriously thinking of bringing slippers to school to wear in my classroom... But as far as the rest of the first week, it wasn't all that bad. I think I'm getting the hang of this teaching thing.

It was definately nice to have a long weekend. Although it seemed like it just flew by! Mark & I decided that we needed to do some serious decorating this weekend because we will be spending a lot of time at our house in the near future:) After a few new rugs, pictures, and other assorted odds and ends it really looks nice. Besides the very exciting DIY projects, we did get to spend some time with our friends, family and a lot of grilling out (some good, some not-so-good).

Mark has decided that my lady bugs have definately gotten bigger. I wish I had measured them before all the expansion began... We'll see if they become mutant, monster lady bugs!

Our newest quest is to find a birthing/parenting class that is less than 10 weeks, but more than 1 day. Mark is pretty sure that we can learn everything from a DVD and a book, but I'm thinking I would like to meet with a living being- I don't get the pain meds, so this class is all I get :)

Other exciting news- Mark started on the dresser/changing table today!
