27 weeks
This past weekend, MaryAnne & I made a killing at several garage sales and consignment shops. We found so many things that had previously been on our registry. Most were nearly brand-new! We found a ton of toys, clothes and even our safari crib bedding. We had so much fun playing with all the toys and picking out cute little outfits :)
Today, Mark & I had an appointment with midwife Mary. Last time we went, she lectured me on how much sugar I was eating (mostly too much ice cream), and this time she told me that I need to be eating more veggies- ugh!! We also were given homework: I have to go for a sonogram (Mark is really excited to get another picture and possibly another confirmation that it really is a little boy) and a couple of blood tests in the next couple
of weeks to test my iron and glucose levels. Then, we need to start thinking about a pediatrician and find a childbirth class... I see Mary again in just 3 weeks, then after that it's every 2 weeks. That means we're heading into the homestretch. I can't believe how quickly time is going, it seems like Wade will be here before we know it!
