32 weeks and other misc. stuff

At our midwife appointment this week, Kari told me that I was ALL baby! Lily is still hanging out with her head down, but likes to stretch out her little arms and legs regularly and take up all the space she can :)

Kari also made a comment to the effect of how active she was and that it could be an indicator of her personality. Really? Another active one...? She then tried to back track and say that maybe she just has an active mind and is just really aware of her surroundings, noticing things all the time, etc. Right. I think she was just trying to make me feel better about having 2 active kids, LOL.

32 week belly. I'm really not that huge, this dress billows out a bit ;)

Nesting is in full effect around here. I have scrubbed the baseboards in both bathrooms and the kitchen and I have plans to clean the baseboards in the other rooms next week- after our NEW CARPET IS INSTALLED! I can't wait to have a house full of new (clean) floors. It will involve staying another night at Mary and Dave's house, but I'm pretty sure we're up for it (her guest bed is sooo comfortable). After that I think I'll scrub the grout in the kitchen and wash all the doors and walls. And possibly detail the washing machine... Soon, our house will be spotless- AND NOBODY BETTER MESS IT UP ;)

Recently, Wade stayed the night at his Uma and Papa's house BY HIMSELF! He had a little trouble falling asleep, but after making a list of the things he had forgotten at home (his bunny clock, CD player, etc.) and Uma climbing into bed with him, he got a good night's sleep. Mark kept saying how he couldn't believe he was old enough to sleep over there by himself and how he missed him. It was pretty quiet around here that night... He's such a big boy now!

Wade also started his tumbling class at the YMCA this week. He loves climbing, jumping and balancing of all kinds, so I thought this would be a perfect activity for him. The facility is great, you can see from the picture all the cool things they have inside there...

We got to watch through the windows and it was the cutest thing ever! Seven 3 year olds trying to jump on one foot, bounce backwards on a trampoline, or complete an obstacle course... Awesome :) He loved it and can't wait to go back next week to see his teacher, Miss Mickey. By the way, he's the one wearing a red shirt, doing some fancy footwork on the mat.
