So apparently we are not only re-doing the nursery, but nearly EVERY room in our house is having some type of construction done to it...
If you remember, here are the BEFORE pictures of the living room, entryway and office.
Here is what it looks like now. Amazing, right?!
It took a little longer than anticipated, but was well worth the wait. We were hoping to be done in one weekend, but it took nearly a week. Good thing my in-laws are such good hosts! We had a great time staying with them and Wade was especially sad to have to move back into his own house. Although, I must say, it is nice to sleep in my own bed again :)
Here is the office/guest room. Nene and Papa's room actually :)
I had mentioned to my super cool mother in law that I liked this fabric she had and thought it would make nice curtains to match our new floor. A few days later, she calls me and tells me that she'll be over later to hang the curtains that she made me... What?! They are absolutely beautiful and do match the new floors perfectly. The pictures turned out a little dark and really don't do them justice...
How lucky am I? I have a mom who's slaving away at the "diaper factory" (in between grouting tiles, of course), a mother in law who's whipping up curtains and a father in law who's refinishing a dresser for the nursery :D
Now, we're just waiting to have the guys come out and re-carpet the kids rooms and our bedroom. Nearly every room in the house (except the kitchen and bathrooms) will have new, CLEAN floors. I can't wait!
