What's going on...

We took Wade to his first hockey game this weekend. He was enthralled with everything throughout the first period. He asked a million questions about what they were doing, wearing, why they were running into the walls, was there water below the ice, etc. He loved it! The music made him dance in his seat, he could yell as loud as he wanted, he got to eat junk food- what's not to love?!

Towards the end of the first period, he lost his patience and we ended up heading home. It was so much fun, and I was proud of how good he was for a few hours of confinement :)

I was checking on Wade during his naptime one day and I found this (note- empty bed):

I almost had a heart attack. So, I climbed up to his top bunk and found this (note- not allowed to sleep on top bunk, only for playing):

Mark decided that we needed to re-do the floors NOW. He tore up everything in the entryway and living room this weekend and will do the office, entryway and living room floors in decorative concrete next weekend. After that, we will have the kids rooms and our bedroom re-carpeted. How nice it will be to have clean, new floors. However, right now there is a fine layer of dust on EVERYTHING and the floors look like this:

Ugh. Well, it can't be like this forever. We are on a serious time constraint :)
