So...

... for a while there, I was so good at updating. What happened?! Well...

First off, we've been going through night time issues again. Wade is scared of the dark. And dragons. So, he's scared to go to bed and scared when he wakes up in the dark. So far, we've hung Christmas lights in his room, started putting him to bed earlier (while it's still light out), Mark told him that he has angels watching over him and protecting him while he sleeps, and we've just recently started checking on him every 5 minutes after he goes to bed until he falls asleep. Usually we only check on him twice and by the third time he's out. We have found him (and his stuffed animals and blanket and pillows) sleeping on our bedroom floor a few times and he still wakes up crying occasionally... Lily of course, sleeps through it all.

Secondly, there's soccer. We have practice every Thursday evening and games on Saturday mornings. So far, Wade thinks it's OK and seems to just be tolerating it. He's really not as excited about it as I thought he'd be and is actually very timid on the field. He tends to walk (or march like a 'machine' depending on his mood) behind the pack and not get too into the game, I don't think he's very sure of himself and am hoping his confidence will be built up by the end of the season. The coach is great (on of the parents stepped up and Mark assists him) and very supportive. And of course, in 3 year old soccer, we don't keep score. So everyone wins ;)
